Ambulatory NEMT Rates
One-Way Transportation
- 0–10 miles: $60 base rate
- 11–25 miles: $2.50 per additional mile
- 26+ miles: $2.65 per additional mile
Round-Trip Transportation
- 0–10 miles each way: $120 base rate
- Mileage beyond the first 10 miles of each leg is charged at the applicable mileage rate.
Additional Charges
- Hospital discharge: Starting at $75
- Weekend ride: +$25
- After-hours ride: +$20
Applies to service before 7:00 AM or after 6:00 PM.
- Additional stop: +$15
- Wait time: First 15 minutes included; $15 per additional 15-minute increment
Scheduling Policy
- 72-hour advance notice preferred
- Same-day and next-day transportation is subject to availability
- Ambulatory passengers only
- Payment is due prior to transportation unless other arrangements have been made
- Submission of a transportation request does not guarantee availability or confirm a reservation
- Transportation is confirmed only after Care Angels approves the request and payment has been completed
Prescription/Pharmacy Delivery Rates
Standard Rates
Local deliveries (0-10 miles): $25 flat
Extended Local (11-25 miles): $45 flat
Regional Deliveries (26-50 miles): $75 flat
Product Handling Tiers
Medical Specimen/ Stat Deliveries: Premium priority handling- additional $15 surcharge
Prescriptions / Medical Records: Standard handling- included in base rate
Medical supplies/Bulk equipment: +$10-$25 surcharge depending on weight/volume
Additional Charges
Wait time
After hours/ Weekend/Holiday: +$20 surcharge
Multiple Stops (same route):+$10 per stop
